Martock Short Mat Bowls Club meets in the Parish Hall most Tuesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm. We take part in County competitions, Club competitions, Charity matches, and Friendly matches with other local clubs as well as having club evenings.

We aim to be competitive in a friendly, sporting atmosphere. Members range from 8 years old to 80 years young !!!. We enjoy social events throughout the year.

A junior section was established last year, and the youngsters have made good progress. Three juniors are playing for Somerset. We have special competitions and social events for the younger members. There are three Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked leaders and the section meets most Fridays 6.30 - 7.30 pm.

Short Mat Bowls is very strong in Somerset and is a good way of getting exercise (gentle and indoors) all year round, while making new friends.
