We are very privileged here in Martock to have a
wonderful band of needle workers, who have produced some beautiful
hassocks, alter frontals and pew runners for our church.
A very small example of their work can be seen here, but to get the full
benefit, one really needs to visit the church and see the embroidery in
all its glory.
The group meet once a month to share ideas and enjoy one another's
company, but they are always on the lookout for more help. Even if
you have never done any embroidery or tapestry before, why not give them
