The bells of All Saints Church need
extensive repair work to make them safe
and they have
been silent for some time.
An appeal will be launched
in October. We intend to have a small
exhibition presenting the work to be done now, and also
describing what has
had to be done at various stages in the past.
We are therefore collecting what data we can on past
work done.
If you have
any past appeal documents, photographs or other documents
for general
interest we would be most grateful if we could borrow
or copy them. Please contact Malcolm Butcher, 16 Moorlands
Park, 824121 or
James Hetherington, Brooklands, Water St 824472
Stop Press!

The Leveller is a quarterly magazine produced
by volunteers under the auspices of Making the Most of
Martock (M3). It is distributed free throughout Martock
and its surrounding villages, and is entirely supported
by local advertisers. Its object is to dispersee local
information, to bind separated communities together and,
hopefully, to entertain.

This site is intended to help support and promote the Martock
community. This includes the various churches,
schools, businesses and clubs
that make up the community. I would like to include on the
site every business, club and society which has a Martock
address. The site can then continue to show our visitors
what we have to offer. There is no charge
for being in any of our lists but if you prefer to have
a whole page to yourself or even a complete new web site,
we can help you, and our pricing is very competetive.
Contributions and comments are welcome. Please contact
us using our web form.
